We know that living with a disability comes with many different challenges and complexities and we know this through our own story. At age 6, our Aaron first came into our lives in 1995 through the foster care system and with limited understanding, training, or support of his disability.
As a family, we had to ‘learn on the job’ whilst living in remote and rural communities, navigating through the many challenges, triumphs, and milestones to provide the best possible care for our newest family member.
